Wind whipping through the swaying trees, their conversations full of hushings and sushings, brightly colored birds flitting from branch to branch, their song adding to the trees’ whispers, the wind intensifies and emerald and jade jewels begin pelting the earth in a steady rain, covering the mossy jungle floor, glinting and gleaming in the bits and pieces of sunlight filtering through the trees, monkeys scurry along vines, investigating the bejeweled showers from the trees’ leaves, the monkeys’ chattering drowns out the tree’s suspicious undertone of whispering, a cacophony fills the jungle and soon another shower, this time of sapphires, drips from the ever building clouds above, a roiling storm shaking the trees completely awake from their whispering slumber.
A young girl appears in the thick of the storm, begins filling her pockets with the jewels now hiding the jungle floor completely. This bejeweled bounty exchanged for food will be enough to feed her village, they will feast the whole year. The girl braved a storming jungle and was richly rewarded.
